Let's focus on shots aimed at the goal. Essentially, everyone is set; the goalkeeper is in position, the defending player is ready to block, and the ball only awaits your kick. To execute the kick, choose the part of the goal you want to target, then drag your mouse in that direction and hope the ball sails into the net, avoiding both the goalkeeper and any intervening players.

drag your mouse in the direction of the kick and hope that the ball will go right into the net without hitting the goalkeeper or a running player
