Saint Nicholas

Sint Nicolaas is a puzzle/platform game inspired by the Dutch celebration of Sinterklaas. The aim is to collect all the scattered presents and gingerbread cookies in each level and deliver them to the appropriate chimneys before dawn. The storyline explains that Sint was robbed, with the thieves taking his large bag of gifts and cookies. However, in their rush, the bag's contents began to spill out. Now, Sint must recover the lost items and ensure they reach the correct chimneys. Each chimney is labeled to show the color of the present it needs and how many gingerbread cookies are still required. Although Sint can hold multiple presents, he can only deliver the first one to a chimney, which means he must either find a matching chimney or collect the gifts in the right order. All deliveries must be completed in one night, before the sun rises, so watching the time at the bottom of the screen is essential. Completing a level quickly might even allow for a bonus round! Navigating the rooftops is dangerous, as Sint must avoid falling, deal with slippery surfaces, dodge sharp TV antennas, and fend off pesky birds that might steal presents or cookies. While Sint can jump on these birds, sparing them earns extra points. Finally, collecting all the chocolate letters S, I, N, T awards an extra life!
