Tafl: Norse Strategy Game

A Nordic tactical board game that rose to prominence during the Middle Ages, akin to chess within Scandinavian culture. This game has multiple versions, featuring varying board sizes (7, 9, 11, 13), different victory conditions such as escorting the king to the board's edge or corner, encircling the king from two or four sides, and the number of attackers (black pieces) versus defenders (white pieces). Players can engage with the game against artificial intelligence, play with another person on the same device, or participate in multiplayer mode online. The black attacking pieces initiate the game, with players alternating turns. All pieces have the ability to move vertically or horizontally across any number of squares.
